some updates...

I feel like I should post some updates, as life has been changing....in lots of good ways :)

First, I got a new job (YAY!!!)
Working at David's Bridal was a good experience to remind me that being a Corporate Office Drone was really not that bad :) Working with the brides was fun, some days it was a blast! And for the most part I LOVED LOVED LOVED that part of my job. Unfortunately the people that I worked with were not so great...and negated any positives I could find in working there.
NOW I am working at a campus bookstore as the textbook coordinator. and I LOVE it. and seriously, I cant remember ever loving a job. At times it is a little monotonous and perhaps boring, but my boss is great, we have intelligent conversations. and oh ya, we listen to NPR and watch the Food Network all day. Oh ya, and did i mention that I also get to wear jeans??!!

Also, I have started school.
I am attending the University of Phoenix online and getting my Masters in Education Curriculum and Instruction. I want to teach ESL...with hopes of eventually helping adults learn English. I am really excited about the possibilities, and really excited about having to actually think and use my brain, and be challenged. But I must tell you, that it has been quite difficult getting back into the swing of being a student. I have a whole new level of respect for Ilker, who had to relearn how to be a student while remembering and rememorizing formulas and complicated math and science things....YUCK! So it has been a challenge, but it has been a good one. So, I am pretty glad that I took this leap...and I am really grateful for my super supportive HTB (husband to be) who encouraged me, supported me, and gave me that push that actually made me do this....thanks hon!

Third, I may become a wedding photographer.
This Sat I am going out to second shoot with our wedding photographer....and discuss options of perhaps working with her through the end of the season. I am still not sure how I feel about wedding photography...except that I know I have become obsessed with it and that I am excited to actually be using my camera again. Wish me luck...its been a long time since I had to shoot under pressure :)

I believe that about sums it up for now. We are moving in a month, and SUPER excited. Cant wait to post pics. And hopefully, I will have some more wedding details soon!

goodnight!
